Rihana ha conseguido que su single Umbrella estuviese durante 14 semanas consecutivas siendo número uno en Reino Unido y en tantos otros países; éxito que ahora parece pasarle factura ya que la cantante confiesa sentirse agobiada. Según declaraciones de la propia artista “Al principio no me preocupó demasiado no estar con la gente a la que quería. Pero después de algún tiempo, la cosa se tornó repetitiva y es cuando empiezas a darte cuenta de a dónde estás yendo. Es como: Oh!, estoy sentada en la habitación de un hotel de nuevo�.

Rihanna con tan sólo 19 años ha alcanzado en muy poco tiempo el sueño que muchos, llevan esperando toda la vida.

La exitosa cantante se ha visto obligada a aplazar temporalmente tres de los conciertos que tenía previstos durante su gira en Reino Unido, el motivo aún no es oficial aunque se sabe que ha sido por recomendación médica. Los conciertos estaban previstos para el NEC Arena de Birminghan, Notthingham Arena y Bournemouth International Centre.

“Conforme a las instrucciones de los doctores de Rihanna, la artista no está preparada para actuar. Rihanna planea reprogramar esta fecha tan pronto como sea posible�.

“Ella aprecia el amor y el apoyo de todos sus fans y sólo quiere verlos y conectarse con ellos. Nos disculpamos por los inconvenientes ocasionados�.

Warner Bros es la encargada de lanzar el próximo 20 de noviembre una recopilación con las principales actuaciones que tuvieron lugar en el macro-concierto solidario que se celebró el pasado 7 de julio en Nueva York, Londres, Sidney, Tokio, Shangay, Río de Janeiro, Johannesburgo y Hamburgo.

El lanzamiento constará de un cd y un doble dvd que reunirá las actuaciones de Madonna, James Blunt, Metallica, Bon Jovi y Enrique Iglesias entre otros. Además de varias actuaciones, el dvd contendrá un documental en el cual se mostrará al público los entresijos de organizar un evento de este tipo. La realización de este evento tuvo lugar con la intención de concienciar al mundo del la importancia del cuidado del medio ambiente.
